IRS Tax Season Has Officially Begun

The IRS tax season has officially begun, as the Internal Revenue Service began accepting income tax returns for 2015 yesterday.  Allen Barron is working with individuals and businesses to prepare and file federal and state tax returns.  Remove all of the hassle of working with the IRS, the FTB or any of the national preparation companies and allow us to maximize your refund opportunities while efficiently and cost-effectively preparing your tax returns.

After a very rocky year for the IRS in 2015, especially in terms of poor customer service and unanswered calls with questions, the IRS is hoping to have a better year in 2016.  The good news for US taxpayers is you’ll have a few extra days to file this year.  2016 is a leap year, adding an extra day in February and due to the observance of “Emancipation Day” in Washington D.C. tax returns with the IRS are not due until April 18.

Allen Barron provides tax preparation services for individuals as well as businesses.  If you have a complex US or California tax return due to offshore income or assets, business ownership, international business, FBAR reporting, or are a high wage earner grossing more than $250,000 in 2015 we invite you to contact us for a free consultation at 866-631-3470.  Allen Barron is uniquely positioned to provided tax preparation, accounting and legal advice regarding US and California tax returns, tax collections, and taxation planning services for businesses or individuals.

Ask about the protections of the “attorney-client privilege” which are not available to those who use one of the national tax preparation or software companies, or even their own CPA or bookkeeper to prepare income taxes.  The IRS tax season means it is time to begin organizing your W2s, 1099s, K1s and other documents and information in preparation for completing US and California tax returns.
